Three Generations of Australian Winemakers
In 1966, Umberto and Rosa, together with their sons, Angelo and Mario, purchased their first rural property in Hackham. This was their first family vineyard of 5 acres.
During 2001, an adjacent 40 acres of land was purchased and planted with the famous Shiraz grape, which has grown out to be one of the most popular Shiraz wines in the district.
In 2011, Angelo made the mammoth decision to create a tank farm on the now 160 acres of property, which also included barrel storage facilities as well. The D’Aloia family vineyard continued to supply the finest quality wines from their own vineyard.
